Hi everyone! This is the newest member of our family. It is a 2008 chevy silverado. I like it. It is fun to drive and we love it!

Little Miss Mercedes

I honestly have not updated this blog because I could not figure out what pictures to put on here! And I had so many pictures on my camera it took like half an hour to load. Anyways, not much is going on with the Fausetts. Mike gets to work and Mercedes and I get to clean house, do laundry, run errands and make dinner. We also get to visit family and we have time to shop too;).
I'll try to be better about keeping up the blog. I didn't intend for it to go this long. Well, not much else to report. Go JAZZ!!

Motherhood. Wow!

I have a new found respect for all mothers. It is hard work and it has only just begun! I am up at least two times a night for feedings and changings. I'm dead tired from being a mom all day changing diapers and feeding and just basically worrying all day that I'm either doing something wrong or not doing something!
On the other hand, I never knew I could love someone so much. My baby is my heart and soul and I do not know how I ever lived without her. She adds so much to our home that I can't even begin to describe. Mike and I absolutely adore this little peanut. (my nickname for her is peanut for some odd reason:)
So although being a mom AND a wife is hard I wouldn't change it for anything. I love it. And there is nothing else I'd rather be. Time for bed. Baby will be up in about two to three hours....oy....

Bath Time! Yikes!!

I had to post this one. She gave me this look the whole time I was bathing her. I love being a mom!

Mom loves to dress me up already! ;) And since she can't make hats look cute on her, she insists on making me wear them. I don't mind though since they keep me warm.

Mercedes Bret Fausett

Hi Everyone! We'd like you all to meet Mercedes Bret Fausett. She made into this world Monday March 10th, 2008 at 8:04 pm. She weighed 7 pounds 7 ounces and was 19.5 inches. She is healthy, happy (when she's fed and not messy;) and we are too! I'm feeling pretty good too. Just sore. We are home now just hanging out and getting used to our new addition. We have enjoyed all our visitors and hope to see more of you all soon!

Still waiting patiently for baby!

Okay it is February 23rd (Happy Anniversary Patty and Billy) and still no baby. I know I'm not due for another couple weeks but come on!! This waiting around to go into labor while your as big as house is not what I call super fun. But since things have been going quite well I guess I should just be patient and enjoy my time at home until she comes. My last day of work was yesterday. :( I didn't think it would be that hard since it just a job. However, having spent almost 8 years going to the same job 8 hours a day 5 days a week....probably you get sort of connected to the place. Let me know if I'm crazy. I already have my doubts about myself but some confirmation would be nice;). Well aside from waiting for our arrival (first on my list of exciting news) my parents are going to be celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary on March 30th!! I think it so awesome. We have some surprises lined up for them. I'll post pictures of the big day! Well you'll probably get more news (and complaints) next week since I'll be home (waiting with my feet up so they don't get all swollen and nasty on me again). :) Happy February!! It's been a great one filled with lots of snow and for me a big belly!
