SO Mike's momma (and my momma Louise, but first she was his), makes the most incredible coconut balls you've ever tasted. And I'm not big on coconut but these are in the words of Simon Cowell, BLOODY FANTASTIC. She gave me the recipe, taught me and coached me and so now I make them every year for Mike and his gang at work. Today my wonderful mom and sisters; Patty and Samantha, helped me roll and dip chocolate candies all day. They are sooooo awesome. Thank you my ladies.
Here is the recipe:
2 lbs powdered sugar
2 sticks of butter or margarine
2 cups of coconut
2 cups chopped walnuts
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 bars of paraffin wax
2 cups of chocolate chips
